Country, custom, or a staged LED show?
LED describes a visual treatment. It does not tell you whether the instruments are wearable, whether the performers move through the crowd, or how the show fits your program.

Other percussion formats can bring a different character: comedy and found-object drumming, a larger marching ensemble, or a concert-style percussion performance. When comparing them, ask to see the kind of appearance you are considering and discuss how it can be adapted.

American Express: a mobile welcome-party performance
For American Express’s October 12, 2026 welcome party at Gaylord Opryland’s Ryman Exhibit Hall, booked through PRA, VRCG provided a three-person country and LED drumline. The brief called for country wardrobe and an all-mobile performance.

Autodesk: a ballroom entrance and CEO handoff
At Autodesk’s Go Beyond conference in Nashville, twelve drummers moved through the aisles of a 3,500-person ballroom and handed the room to the CEO. The music could stretch or shorten around the entrance.

What to share before choosing an act
- The moment: what you want guests to experience, and what happens immediately before and after.
- The setting: your date and venue, where guests gather, and whether they need to move to another room.
- The look and music: a country theme, brand colors, custom music, wardrobe, or an idea you want help developing.
- The handoff: who gives the entrance cue and who takes over after the final beat.
You do not need a finished production plan to start. A few details let us recommend an approach and develop the rest with your team. Wearable drums are live acoustic instruments, so volume and placement are part of that conversation, along with time for announcements and guests to talk.

Can an LED drumline move through the crowd?
Yes, when the performers use wearable drums. Hot Stickin’ and Stix One Five use live wearable drums, with LED lighting available. LuminaDrums is a separate stage show with wired drums. The lighting alone does not tell you whether an act can roam.
