A Nashville corporate drumline case study

American Express: a Nashville drumline welcome party

Country wardrobe. LED drums. A performance that could move with the party.

For American Express’s October 12, 2026 welcome party at Gaylord Opryland, VR Creative Group provided a three-person Hot Stickin’ drumline. Working with PRA, we shaped the country look and mobile format around the event in the Ryman Exhibit Hall.

The starting point was the experience the planner wanted: LED percussion with a country feel, able to move through the reception.

The brief

A country welcome that could move.

PRA approached us about LED entertainment for the welcome party. The client wanted the performers dressed with a country vibe. The planner then clarified an essential part of the request: the performance needed to be mobile.

That gave us three connected choices to make: the act, its look, and how it would fit into a reception. Hot Stickin’ — Nashville Country Drumline brought those pieces together.

Country character

The wardrobe carried the Nashville theme into the performance, answering the client’s request for a country look.

A mobile cast

A three-person drumline provided the roaming format requested for the welcome party.

The performance

Three drummers, built into the welcome party.

The booking brought a three-person country and LED drumline to American Express’s welcome party in Gaylord Opryland’s Ryman Exhibit Hall on October 12. The mobile format let the entertainment move through the event rather than depend on a fixed performance position.

The event shows one way to use a Nashville drumline: a compact cast, a recognizable country look, and a live appearance within a corporate reception. Cast size and visual treatment follow the event brief; they are choices we develop with your team.

For a different use of a drumline, our Autodesk conference entrance used twelve drummers through a ballroom and finished with a handoff to the CEO. The purpose of the moment shaped each performance.

Bring us the idea

What should your guests experience?

You might want a country welcome at the door, a roaming appearance during the reception, or a procession into the ballroom. Tell us where that moment sits in your event. We’ll help shape the music, wardrobe, lighting, and timing around it.

Hot Stickin’ is our Nashville country drumline. If your event calls for another style or theme, Stix One Five can take on that direction. Both are live, wearable drumlines, with the look and performance developed for the occasion.
